April Farnum has over 15 years of experience as a designer, photographer, and creative director. With a degree in editorial graphic design, her heart lies in visual storytelling. Having worked for larger companies such as Leo Burnett Advertising, Colorado Public Television, and Village Voice Media as well as small, independent businesses, April offers a wide range of experience in branding/visual identity, writing and editing content, and photo styling. In her free time, she is a ceramics artist, dabbles in furniture and interior design and is a community garden leader for Denver Urban Gardens. Passionate about sustainability, local food communities, and the "maker movement," April is currently traveling the West Coast, WWOOFing, and working with artists/makers to learn more about their practices and documenting their professions.
